    Industrial big data is a collection of data in the industry application,which consist of business data in the information system,machine data in the industrial IoT system,and related data in the related websites.Industrial big data is a very important component of industrial internet.The main resources of the industrial big data were analyzed with introduction of the industrial internet.Then the relationships among “industrial big data,enterprise digitalization and industrial internet” were discussed.The“multi-typed,high-throughput,and strong-correlated” characteristics of industrial big data were presented.A typical industrial big data application scenario with “cross-time-scale,cross-supply-chain,and cross-organization” was shown.Furthermore,Industrial big data software architecture was discussed and a real-life application case was shown.

    The basic data of blast furnace site monitoring system,inspection system and production operation system were collected through the iron-making things.The mechanism mathematical models and cyber physical systems were built.A big data storage and intelligent platform based on internet was developed by data-driving and mining.Each process and each operation data were analyzed by horizontal and vertical comparisons.Cloud computations and suggestions for smelting operations were finished quickly and efficiently.Information and standards of iron-making can also be acquired.The integration of information technology,big data technology,internet technology and traditional metallurgical technology was explored.

    With the advent of the Internet of things and the era of Cyber Physical System,more data can be collected and analyzed,and industrial big data have become important driving force for industry innovation and transformation.Unlike traditional Internet big data,industrial big data are closely integrated with industrial logic.The difference between industrial big data and internet big data was compared in detail.Combined with the classical cases,the process of demand driven transformation of traditional manufacturing industry and the development path of industrial big data were expounded.The structure and working principles of industrial big data platform were introduced.At last,taking the excavator business as an example,it shows the application effect of the industrial big data platform,and that having a share in data and models will make data based application produce more value was put forward.

    Brand public opinion management involves text,voice and other natural language processing,such as mining the emotions and views of the text and quantifies it.The quantification of emotion in natural language is the emotion discriminant analysis.Considering the disadvantage in the traditional sentiment analysis that based on emotional dictionary and supervision model based sentiment analysis system,a new sentiment analysis system was proposed,and combined with the Naive Bayesian classification algorithm,the accuracy of sentiment analysis was improved,and the ability of quantitative analysis of emotional strength was enhanced.The sentiment discrimination accuracy of the proposed text sentiment analysis engine is higher than that of the common analysis method,and there is no decent of accuracy in out-ofsample texts from different industries.

    Cyber-physical-social system(CPSS) connects the cyber space,the physical space,and the social space,which has become a promising human-in-the-loop computing system.The unique features of CPSS from the data-centric level were characterized,including the interweaving of spatio-temporal data,the fusion of cross-space data and the collaboration of human and machine intelligence.Furthermore,a general framework for data-centric CPSS was built,with the underpinnings such as resource management,collaborative sensing,data pre-processing,data fusion,and privacy protection.Finally,the major application areas of data-centric CPSS (e.g.,civic management,public safety,intelligent transportation,and business intelligence) and its future research directions were presented.

    The tourists' attitudes and the potential problems coming along with tourism projects were mainly analyzed.Thousands of comments aiming at five different ancient China towns coming from website were collected.Then with text mining,terms frequency was counted,and the hot topics were analyzed.After that,the scores were received with sentiment analysis.Based on the results from sentiment analysis,then the analysis of variance about possible causes influenced travelers' attitudes was given.Ultimately the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model was built.The result is able to give references for creating a better system of ancient towns traveling program.

    Big data era has arrived.In order to extract the value from big data,the community needs a large number of qualified data scientists.The training of data scientists is a pressing problem.School of Information Renmin University of China (Computer Science Department) proposed the construction thinking of building a curriculum system of three course groups,among them“Introduction to Data Science” is an introductory course of the data science course group.Firstly,the key technologies were introduced by cases for students to easily grasp the basic idea were introduced.Besides that,in order to enhance students' ability to analyze real problems (complex engineering problems) and to solve them,a whole-process practice case for a mediumsized practical problem was provided.Data science is an interdisciplinary subject,the course should reflect the interdisciplinary characteristics.For example,for time series data,the methods from statistics perspective and data mining /machine learning perspective to model and analyze the data,some comparison of the methods was given.
