The Editorial Department of Chinese Journal of Network and Information Security, through the plagiarism check function of the CNKI Academic Misconduct Literature Check (AMLC) System, examines the similarity of submitted articles before the first review and the first online publication of accepted manuscripts. The Board requires that the text similarity not exceed 10%. Articles found to have plagiarism, duplicate publication, or multiple submissions will be rejected.
To submit a manuscript, please visit the website of Chinese Journal of Network and Information Security at www.infocomm-journal.com/cjnis, click the button “Author Login”, and use the Academic Journal Management System. For a new user, please register an “Author Account”, and then submit a manuscript following the guidance.
The detailed contact information of the first author and corresponding author is required (please promptly inform the editorial office of any change of contacting addresses). The authors may recommend 3—5 qualified reviewers and/or request the exclusion of specific reviewers. Duplicate submission is forbidden. In this case, we will inform the author’s institution and the relevant journal.
For the paper with a great breakthrough result, quick publication will be arranged. After typesetting, page proof is usually sent electronically as email attachments to the corresponding author. The proof plus any minor corrections must be returned to the managing editor within 36 hours. Failure to do this will result in delays in publication. Corrections can be noticed in different ways: 1) highlight the corrections and send us the print proof pages; 2) highlight the corrections and send us the corrected page proof as email attachment.
All submissions will be reviewed by referees selected by the editorial board. The decision of acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is made by the editorial board based on the referees’ reports. The entire review process may take 60 to 90 days, and the editorial office will inform the author of the decision as soon as the process is completed. If the editorial board fails to make a decision within 90 days, it is up to the authors to decide whether they would withdraw their paper and submit it elsewhere.
Generally speaking, it requires 16 weeks on an average for a paper to be published after its initial submission. Articles accepted will be published online first. Each manuscript is citable with its DOI number. The printed version will be released with issue and page number according to annual plan.
No fee or charge is required for submission and manuscript review. A publications fee is required for each publication. Page charges are 400 RMB for each page. If the first author is a CCF member / senior member / student member (if a member, please indicate the member number), he will enjoy a 85% discount on the layout fee. If the author does not have the subject funds to pay layout fees can apply for relief. Application: The author of the communication can be waived upon confirmation by sending an e-mail instruction to the official mailbox of the editorial department of the Chinese Journal of Network and Information Security.
