摘要:

本文对当前IPTV中使用的各种视频编码技术从压缩算法、复杂度、应用特性等多方面进行了比较、研究,给出了各压缩标准之间的差异和优劣,为IPTV视频压缩技术的选择提供了依据。此外还指出了网络不对称性和终端差异对IPTV发展的制约,并说明可伸缩视频编码(SVC)技术是IPTV一种最为理想的视频压缩解决方案。

Abstract:

Based on several video compression schemes(mostly used)in IPTV up to now,it analyzed and compared the compression arithmetic,complexity and application characteristic,given the difference from each other.Furthermore it denoted the restriction in IPTV development because of asymmetry of network and multiplicity of receiver,and then given the best solution-scalable video coding(SVC).
