摘要:

长期演进(LTE)网络是3GPP定义的先进移动网络系统,相比现有的2G 和3G 网络,LTE 网络的用户(UE)更加密集、站间距更小、更多的小基站加入系统,从而使UE移动性管理面临更大的挑战。为此,提出了一种新型UE切换方法。仿真结果显示,新方法能够很好地解决密集LTE异构网络中UE切换失败率高的问题,性能优化显著。

Abstract:

The long term evolution (LTE)network is an advanced mobile network defined in 3GPP. The node density of LTE network is higher than traditional 2G and 3G mobile networks, because not only the inter-sector distance is smaller, but also more and more small cells are integrated into the network. The mobility management has become a challenge in a dense heterogeneous network. An advanced handover mechanism to solve the high handover failure rate problem in LTE heterogeneous network(HetNet)was proposed. Simulation results show that the proposed mechanism increases the handover performance in HetNet.
