Abstract:

As continued growth of the network bandwidth capacity and increasing needs of individual users，how to improve the level of network intelligence，and then enhance the value of a current pipeline，become the key issues operators need to solve. Based on analyzing the trends of carrier networks and existing standards，the development ideas of intelligent pipe which match network resources to the user on demand are proposed in the paper. The meaning and overall structure of intelligent pipe are discussed，the key technologies related are proposed，and the typical applications that intelligent pipes can support are provided.
