V2X (vehicle-to-everything) is a promote and profound reform-and-innovation in transportation and automobile industries.It is changing the people’s travel mobility modes and ways of society energy consumption.The requirements and challenges of V2X communication performance in data rate, latency, and reliability, being required and challenged by intelligent transportation and automated driving applications were analyzed.The critical technologies and international standards evolutions of cellular vehicle-to-everything (C-V2X) were introduced, including LTE-V2X and NR-V2X.Then, the advantages of applying C-V2X were analyzed for vehicle-vehicle and vehicle-infrastructure cooperation in intelligent transportation and automated driving.Meanwhile, the field testing and industrial practice of C-V2X in China were presented, and the roadmap was envisioned for developing intelligent transportation and intelligent connected vehicles (ICV) in China.For example, the envisions include actively promoting the construction of “5G+C-V2X” and new type infrastructure, exploring the development mode of vehicle-infrastructure cooperation based on V2X, and eventually supporting China to reach the national low “carbon peak” and to achieve the national “carbon neutralization” strategic goals.
Low earth orbit (LEO) satellite system is one of the most important infrastructures to gather spatial information and break the broadband digital divide.The integration of communication and remote sensing is an effective way to solve the existing problems of system independence, satellite resource waste, and late response to emergency service requests.Firstly, the status of communication and remote sensing in LEO satellite systems were outlined, and then a communication and remote sensing integrated scheme and architecture were put forward to meet the integration requirements.In addition, a hardware composition and corresponding experiment based on this architecture was introduced.Finally, the relevant challenges and future development were discused.
Internet applications deeply affect people’s work and life.As the booming of internet applications,the data network faces more and more challenges.Based on the requirements of future applications,the trend for inheritance development based on traditional IP of data networks was analyzed and a new network protocol suite——NewIP was proposed.The core technologies including deterministic IP,intrinsic security,new control and addressing mechanisms for ManyNets,user definable and new transport were also introduced.
The technological innovation of network is the basis and enabling condition of new application and business innovation.The industrial internet,5G and the ICT infrastructure had put forward new requirements and challenges to the data network,including deterministic transmission,differentiated access services,ubiquitous mobile support,the credible internal security,and autonomous operation and maintenance.The existing problems of data network were analyzed,the research ideas of data network generation were pointed out,some key technologies of network 5.0 were put forward,and the problems involved in the construction of network innovation platform was dicussed.
Due to the growing demand for mobile communication services, the shortage of licensed frequency bands is becoming more and more obvious. Therefore 5G networks begin to consider deployment in the unlicensed spectrum, that is, to employ the NR protocol in unlicensed spectrum to provide access services. The main challenge of 5G networking in the unlicensed spectrum is to support LBT mechanism considering 5G new technical features and thus to guarantee fairness with existing systems as well as efficient spectrum sharing, the impact of LBT on 5G networking in the unlicensed spectrum was analyzed, the relevant standardization progress and challenges was summarized. Feasible and innovative solutions were proposed for some key technical issues to minimize the impact of LBT failure and thus to ensure the performance of 5G networking in the unlicensed spectrum.
How to deal with the complicated management problem after network function virtualization,how to flexibly schedule the network,all these problems need to be solved in order to develop the NFV.The rise of artificial intelligence provides a new solution for the management and orchestration in the NFV system.The present situations of NFV and artificial intelligence were summarily introduced,and use-cases of artificial intelligence in NFV were discussed.In addition,a solution for the management of VNF lifecycle management based on machine learning was proposed to provide reference for artificial intelligence technology in the application of NFV.
All-optical network has been considered as the ultimate goal of the optical communication network.With the development of liquid crystal and MEMS technologies and the maturity of configurable optical devices such as WSS,all-optical network has once again become the focus of research and application.Based on the technical status and system architecture of the all-optical network,the technical problems to be solved in the all-optical network were discussed,the latest developments in standardization research were sorted out,the typical problems existing in the all-optical network standardization were further analyzed,and its future developments were finally forecasted.
As one of the most important parts of all-optical networks,ROADM brings benefits such as flexibility,low-power consumption,cost and efficient utilization of network resources.Consequently they have been deployed in volume over recent years in backbone and metro networks.The WSS,the key component of the ROADM,was described,followed by a description of the features and challenges of next generation WSS designs.Finally,the CDC ROADM,which was the likely next evolutionary step for the ROADM,was investigated along will the necessary components development.
Pluggable optical transceivers provide a practical,standard optoelectronic interface solution for a variety of optical networks.Firstly,a variety of 10 Gbit/s optical transceivers were shown,and then the global optical transceiver market was classified according to device technology.The average selling price of ONU in FTTx,ONU optical modules in DWDM networks,Ethernet and FTTx and 100GbE SR4 and CWDM4 transceivers were revealed.Finally,the onboard optical module packaged with the ASIC switch was given.
With the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announcing that it has issued a test frequency license to China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom for the low and medium frequency band of the 5G mobile communication system, China's 5G commercial pace has officially begun. The global deployment, commercial situation and the oriented industrial network characteristics of 5G were introduced. It was pointed out that 5G would continue to consolidate the foundation for interconnectivity of all things, fully enable the industrial internet, and accelerate the integration of multi-industry internet.
A new Android malware detection method based on byte-code image and deep learning was proposed. Firstly, Android malware byte-code files were mapped to RGB colorful images which had three channels. Also, the Shannon entropy as Alpha channel of images were calculated, and then merged with RGB images into RGBA images. Finally, the convolutional neural network as classifier was employed to classify aforementioned images. According to the experiment on malware of eight malicious families and compared this method with the method which mapping the byte-code to gray image, the result shows that the method using RGBA images has good performance not only in speed, but also in accuracy.
Exploring the way of global coordinated controlling of internet resources for the consistency of user experience,is a difficult problem to be solved urgently in the development of smart network at present.Inspiration was got from the natural collective motion,and a coordinated fitting scheme of globe-domain resources based on node self perception,autonomous decision and automatic adjustment——situational-section fitting network (SiFiNet) was proposed.The basic concept of situational network was given,and the core mechanisms of scene perception modeling,scene fitting decision and service adaptive loading were discussed,which provided a possible solution for the development of smart network.
In view of the existing problems and shortcomings in the current social credit management work,according to the vision and demand of the “Credible Society”,the structure of the intelligent credit governance system based on big data involved in panoramic fiduciary field was put forward,and the core theory and key technology were analyzed.Finally,three typical application scenarios were used to further illustrate the role of the architecture in social credit governance,which was of great significance to improve our government’s governance capability.
Due to the physical proximity,D2D communications can bring proximity gain,reusing gain and hop gain,and thus can potentially increase system spectral-efficiency and energy-efficiency.Full-duplex D2D communications,which enable the transceiver to simultaneously transmit and receive in the same band,can further improve the system performance.Therefore,full-duplex D2D communications has being considered as one of the key techniques in the next generation cellular networks.The features of full-duplex D2D communications and the significance in 5G systems were briefly introduced as well as its applications.Then,the state-of-art research on full-duplex D2D resource allocation was presented and discussed.Finally,some research topics that deserve further study was outlined and concluded.
V2X (vehicle to everything) communication is the critical technology to provide environment sensing,information exchange and cooperative control capabilities in vehicular networks.LTE-V2X,as one of the major V2X communication standards initiated and mainly driven by Datang Telecom,can enable low latency,high reliability,high data rate and security in communications,as well as scale economies by sharing the existing LTE network and terminal chipsets.LTE-V2X communication technology was introduced,and compared with IEEE 802.11p standards.Then,the progress of LTE-V2X standardization,industrial research and development and trials and field testing works were provided.Finally,the development strategy of LTE-V2X and technical evolution towards 5G was discussed.
Artificial intelligence (AI) technology is considered as a new generation of technological revolution that has received universal attention.The previous scientific and technological revolutions in history have brought about changes in the process of human civilization and further affected the entire social division of labor and international structure.However,due to the nature of artificial intelligence technology itself,its historical significance is quite different from previous scientific and technological revolutions,and it may be the fundamental technology that humanity has crossed over to the free kingdom.In the process of the full penetration and integration of artificial intelligence into the real economy,there are still several key issues that have not been resolved.From the perspective of philosophy and system science,several core issues that in order to get artificial intelligence technology be fully applied in the economic system were analyzed.Finally,some relevant suggestions combined with the China Telecom’s work on AI were given.
