    Review on strategic technology of dense connection for the future mobile network

    Based on reviews of the work regarding dense connection, the strategic technologies for dense connection in the upcoming future mobile communication were illuminated.The state of the art of dense connection, including network architecture and related technologies, the transmission technology of dense connection, and the access technology of dense connection were analyzed.A flexible access network structure with verity of connection forms coexisting was proposed.Aiming at the asymmetry of uplink and downlink coverage and considering the QoS requirements of users, a dense terminal access scheme based on the uplink-and-downlink-separated network architecture was proposed.The necessity of the three-dimensional network architecture and the integration of communication and computing to meet the needs of large-scale networking and dense connection were illuminated.Based on technologies such as terahertz and block chain, the future strategic exploratory trends such as the upward extension of frequency bands and the sharing of spectrum resources were discussed and prospected.

    Recovery mechanism of large-scale damaged edge computing network in industrial Internet of things

    Given the limited resources at early stages for recovery, a failure recovery mechanism of the edge computing network considering both computational demands and repair costs was proposed, which intends to tackle the problem of the high probability of large-scale cascading failure caused by the interdependence between the edge computing network and other subnetworks in industrial Internet of things (IIoT).Considering the network structure (topology and link capacity) and network dynamics (computational demands), a joint link recovery selection and computation migration optimization problem was formulated under the conservation of node computing requirements.By leveraging the Benders decomposition algorithm, the NP-hard problem was transformed into a main problem and a sub-problem, which were interdependent and could be solved in polynomial time through the approximation of cutting planes.A local branching method was further introduced to guarantee the non-increasing nature of the Benders upper bound, thus accelerating the convergence of Benders decomposition.Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm outperforms the conventional topology-based recovery algorithm in system utility, and can perform well in multiple scenarios.

    Blockchain is a kind of distributed ledger technology that upgrades to a complete storage system by adding logic control functions such as intelligent contracts.With the changes of its classification,service mode and application requirements,the core technology forms of Blockchain show diversified development.In order to understand the Blockchain ecosystem thoroughly,a hierarchical technology architecture of Blockchain was proposed.Furthermore,each layer of blockchain was analyzed from the perspectives of basic principle,related technologies and research progress in-depth.Moreover,the technology selections and characteristics of typical Blockchain projects were summarized systematically.Finally,some application directions of blockchain frontiers,technology challenges and research prospects including Smart Cities and Industrial Internet were given.

    The multi-disciplinary cross-integration of Internet of things (IoT) technology provides a new way to thoroughly solve the problem of mine safety production.The real-time accurate perception and intelligent analysis of mine “human-machine-environment” status information is the basis of mine IoT application.The technological architecture of the IoT was analyzed for mine safety production,the virtual-real fusion perception theory model based on CPS and DT was established to solve key issues in mine IoT,such as perception theory,intelligent sensing technology,standardization method and large data analysis service.A unified description method for mine “human-machine-environment” information was put forward,the multi-parameter sensors and intelligent autonomous sensing devices were developed,and the mine IoT coding and interaction protocol standards were standardized.In addition,it was designed for the mine IoT converged communication network service architecture,the application service system of high-efficiency access and deep analysis of large data in mine IoT was constructed,which realized the comprehensive and accurate perception,real-time and efficient interaction and intelligent analysis application of mine safety production status information.It also provides strong scientific and technological support for the mine safety prevention preparation,monitoring and early warning,situational prejudgment,comprehensive protection and other technical levels.

    Technology prospect of 6G mobile communications

    To achieve a deeper level of intelligent communication for human beings,the sixth generation mobile communication system (6G) will realize the extension from the real world to the virtual world.To this end,the “human-machine-thing-genie” problem introduced by 6G was presented,and an evolved dual-world architecture for 6G was proposed.The architecture includes the fourth elements of 6G,genie,in the virtual world.The potential key theories and technologies to support the design and implementation of 6G were proposed and analyzed.
