摘要:

建立在Slepian-Wolf和Wyner-Ziv编码理论基础上的分布式视频编码是一种全新的编码框架。与传统视频编码方案相比,其突出的特点决定它可为未来无线视频信号编码与传输提供具有极大竞争力的解决方案。本文对分布式视频编码的关键技术进行了分析,介绍了最新的研究进展,并剖析和展望了影响当今分布式视频编码的几个关键问题。

关键词: 视频压缩, 分布式视频编码, Wyner-Ziv编码, 关键帧, 边信息

Abstract:

Distributed video coding(DVC)is a new compression paradigm based on Slepian & Wolf and Wyner & Ziv theorems.Compared with traditional video coding standard,its typical characteristics make it be a very comparable solution scheme to encode and to transmit video signal for wireless application.This paper provides the analysis of its key technologies,reviews the advances of fundamental building blocks of distributed video coding,and points out its key problems in future development.
