摘要:

随着EPON、GPON的规模部署和10 Gbit/s PON标准的制定,FSAN组织已经启动了NG-PON2的标准化工作。本文将分析运营商对NG-PON2的技术需求,并对TDM-WDM-PON、WDM-PON、OFDM-PON等多种备选技术方案进行探讨,研究这些技术的可实现性和与现有网络共存等问题。

Abstract:

As EPON and GPON are now being mass-deployed around the world and 10 Gbit/s PON has been standardized,FSAN launched the standardization project of the second next generation passive optical networks (NG-PON2).This article analyses the requirements of telecom operators for NG-PON2 and investigates a variety of alternative technical solutions,such as TWDM-PON,WDM-PON,OFDM-PON,exploring the realizability and coexistence with legacy PON systems.
