摘要:

ROADM 作为全光网最重要的组成部分之一,可以给光网络带来灵活可变、降低功耗和成本、充分利用网络空闲资源等优势,近年来开始在骨干网和城域网规模部署。对于组成ROADM的重要元器件之一——WSS的构造原理进行详细阐述和分析,并介绍未来下一代WSS的主要特性和挑战,最后基于元器件发展的趋势,给出ROADM的发展方向——CDC ROADM的可行架构。

Abstract:

As one of the most important parts of all-optical networks,ROADM brings benefits such as flexibility,low-power consumption,cost and efficient utilization of network resources.Consequently they have been deployed in volume over recent years in backbone and metro networks.The WSS,the key component of the ROADM,was described,followed by a description of the features and challenges of next generation WSS designs.Finally,the CDC ROADM,which was the likely next evolutionary step for the ROADM,was investigated along will the necessary components development.
