摘要：

随时随地的个人无线通信是通信业发展的目标，市场需求的不断增加和宽带无线接入技术的成熟使得无线城域网（WMAN）呼之欲出。本文从运营的角度研究了WMAN同WLAN（无线局域网）、3G所提供的宽带无线接入业务的差异，探讨了它们之间的关系，并给出了基本结论。

Abstract:

Abstract It＇s a strong wish that people can communicate with each other anywhere, anytime. Wireless communication does play a very important role in implementing this wish. Nowadays with the development of wireless broadband access technologies and the increasing demand from the consumer market, WMAN is becoming more and more practical for an end user to use. This paper analyzes the difference among WMAN/WLAN and 3G as well as the relationship among them by a telecom operator's view. Based upon the analyses, we give the basic conclusion.
