摘要:

3GPP在2004年12月启动了无线接入网长期演进研究项目,以及面向全IP的分组域核心网的演进项目,希望通过从无线接口到核心网络的持续演进和增强,保持自己在移动通信领域的技术先发优势和持续的竞争力。作者将SAE和LTE相结合,力图从系统结构演进的整体角度分析未来移动通信系统的网络长期发展趋势。文章最后对SAE/LTE项目的标准化工作进展进行了介绍。

Abstract:

In the end 2004,in order to ensure the competitiveness of 3G technology in the next 10 years and beyond,3GPP has launched the long term evolution of 3G access network,as well as system architecture evolution of all-IP packet core network. The fundamental aim of this evolution is to support the increasingly demands of operators and users with higher data throughput and improved network performance. The author combines the two aspects and tries to analyze the long term development trend of future mobile communication system from the aspect of system architecture. At the end, the standardization and working plan are presented to help the reader know about the whole situation of SAE/LTE.
