摘要:

SDH技术虽然解决了PDH技术时代中存在的很多缺陷,但随着SDH网络的日益扩大,电路量的急剧增加,SDH网络及其技术本身也暴露出一些问题。在电信运营商进入全面竞争的今天,如何引入新技术来弥补SDH技术缺陷,降低运营成本,提高网络差异化服务能力和业务的可靠性,增强网络竞争能力,成为当下各大电信运营商关注的热点。本文从SDH网络的演进和存在的问题角度入手,就为什么引入ASON技术,如何引入ASON技术以及ASON技术发展前景等方面作了全面的分析和论述。

Abstract:

The SDH technology patches up many deficiencies of the PDH technology. However, the SDH technology is proved to have certain problems when the SDH network is expanding and the number of circuits is increasing. A new technology is a must to patch up the deficiencies of the SDH technology when telecom carriers are confronting fierce competitions and hoping to reduce operation costs, enhance the service reliability and capability of providing differentiated network services, and make their network competitive. Considering the evolution of SDH network and its problems, this paper makes a thorough analysis about rationale, methods, and technical perspectives of using the ASON technology in the SDH network.
