摘要：

随着LTE网络部署的加快，运营商对LTE业务尤其是LTE广播业务的研究和试点也纷纷启动。LTE广播业务使运营商能够有效地通过LTE网络推出多媒体服务广播业务。重点介绍了LTE广播业务的业务模式、总体架构、功能和协议，然后对LTE 广播业务部署的关键问题进行了分析和讨论。

Abstract:

The operators are becoming enthusiastic about LTE MBMS services with more and more LTE network are built. LTE broadcast services are best fit for the need of multimedia services, especially the mobile video services with the benefit of the broadcast technology developed by 3GPP. The LTE MBMS service mode was introduced firstly, then overall system architecture, functional components and protocols were described, the key issues for eMBMS deployment were analyzed and discussed, the conclusion was provided briefly.
