Abstract: Home NodeB, also known as Femtocell, is an indoor telecommunication equipment which integrates the main functions of the traditional UTRAN equipment. In this article, firstly, discuss the development and trend of the Femtocell； secondly, analysis the necessity and feasibility for the location restriction of Femtocell； thirdly, introduce the typical location restriction method which is based on the interception of macro NodeB； lastly, from the view of network address binding, introduce two new methods for the location distriction of Femtocell.
