摘要/Abstract

摘要：

5G Option4架构通过以5G为锚点的4G/5G双连接（NR E-UTRAN dual connectivity，NE-DC）在5G独立组网（standalone，SA）基础上聚合4G链路能力，提升5G网络性能，同时可兼顾现有4G用户体验，是受运营商关注的潜在5G架构演进方向。介绍了Option4技术原理，多维度详细分析了Option4关键性能，探讨了Option4对运维复杂度的影响，提出了5G Option4架构部署建议。

关键词: 5G架构, Option4, NE-DC

Abstract:

Option4 architecture improves 5G network performance by aggregating 4G link capabilities on the basis of 5G SA, while taking into account the existing 4G user experience.It is a potential 5G architecture evolution direction that operators are concerned about.The technical principles of Option4 was introduced, the key performance of Option4 from multiple dimensions was analyzed in detail, the impact of Option4 on the complexity of operation and maintenance was discussed, and 5G Option4 architecture deployment suggestions were proposed.
