    Network function virtualization (NFV) is an important trend in the development of future network,and is currently the work focus of the world's major standards organizations and open source communities.Network functions virtualization orchestrator (NFVO) is the core function of arranging and managing the NFV network and is the focus for operators and equipment manufacturers.The latest research progress of NFVO related international and domestic standards organizations and open source projects was expatiated,the NFVO system architecture and key components developed by Beijing Research Institute of China Telecom Co.,Ltd.and Jiangsu Branch of China Telecom Co.,Ltd.was expounded and NFVO's challenges in future R&D and deployment was pointed out based on the existing practice of network.

    CORD open source project provides one implementation reference of unified access edge cloud.On the basis of analysis of influence of CORD project on the existing CO and DC,the core architecture and software stack of CORD were studied.Meanwhile,the integrated reference solution of 5G-oriented mobile scenario and performance analysis was also analyzed.Finally,the reference solution to integrate CORD with other open source was given.

    Network function virtualization (NFV) and software defined networking (SDN) have been widely recognized as the main direction of the development of the next generation telecom network,and as the brain of the future network,orchestrator is the key for the operators to manage the network flexibly and maximize the advantages of new technologies.Firstly,the core position of orchestrator in the next generation network was described,and the technical architecture of orchestrator was introduced.Then,the development of orchestrator in the perspective of standardization and open source were introduced and analyzed.Finally,the relationship between standardization and open source was elaborated,including the integration of orchestrator and OSS,the support of orchestrator for SDN and the idea to realize the intelligent and automatic network operation relying on orchestrator.

    According to the characteristics of SDN/NFV,the future network experiment platform based on SDN/NFV was proposed.The open source architecture of OpenStack and OpenDaylight was used,and the SDN cross-domain communication system,virtual network element management and network service orchestration were researched.Real-time dynamic management and effective sharing of the underlying heterogeneous resources were achieved.At the same time,according to the needs of the experimental users of the network resources,various network resources and SFC service was flexibly orchestrated and end-to-end network experimental verification services were provided to users.

    NFV is a core component of the operator network reconstitution,and open source is an important driving force to accelerate the development of NFV.How to use open source technology to promote the application of NFV in telecom network is a major issue faced by operators.NFV open source technology system was surveyed comprehensively according to the NFV reference framework proposed by ETSI,and the background,core technology and development trend of mainstream open source projects of NFVI,VNF and MANO was analyzed.Finally,some critical problems (such as technical bottlenecks,decoupling obstacles and operational difficulties) and corresponding solutions were presented to help operators to make better use of open source technology of NFV.

    With the development of the future internet technology,the future network architecture which utilizes network virtualization as a tool to solve the rigidity of traditional network becomes the main stream.As a new network architecture,software defined networking provides an effective network virtualization solution.Firstly,related technology of network virtualization in SDN was concluded,distinguished differences between deploying virtual network in SDN and traditional network was compared,and aiming at the virtual network mapping problem in SDN virtualization platform,a latency sensitive SDN virtualization controller placement algorithm.At last,experiment results show that the algorithm not only can assure the delay between SDN controllers and switches in an acceptable range,but also improve the utilization efficiency of network resources.

    In recent years,network function virtualization (NFV) is arousing concern widely from both academia and industry due to its flexible deployment and low cost.However,the performance bottleneck becomes increasingly distinctive and hinders the progress of NFV technology.The major factors were studied which could seriously affect the performance of NFV data plane.Firstly,an analysis was conducted on the causes for various kinds of performance overheads.Then,the optimization solutions were summarized to mitigate these overheads.Finally,a brief introduction was made on two types of architecture,which could significantly improve the performance of NFV data plane.

    D2D communication is a short distance communication mode in the future 5G network.In the process of communication,the information is transmitted from the sender to the receiver directly,without the need to transmit through the base station.The introduction of D2D communication in the traditional cellular network can greatly improve the total throughput of the system,increase the utilization of spectrum resources and reduce the power consumption of the transmitter.A resource allocation method which was used in hybrid D2D cellular network was mainly introduced,spectrum resources was distributed by Lagrange multiplier method combined with simulated annealing algorithm,a consideration of channel capacity and energy consumption of the resource scheduling strategy based on simulated annealing algorithm was put forward.This algorithm was simulated by the simulation platform in Vienna,compared to the traditional greedy optimization algorithm,it can significantly increase the total system throughput and bandwidth utilization and reduce the power consumption.In addition,the distributed algorithm was adopted,that D2D users searched for a suitable target channel and calculated their transmit power according to the algorithm steps,which reduced the signaling overhead of the base station.

    A network selection algorithm based on synergetic for heterogeneous wireless network was proposed. The algorithm considered the network selection as a systematic problem. The optional network was a composite system and each kind of service running on the terminal was a subsystem. The entropy of the composite system was obtained according to the concept of entropy and it can reflected the degree of coordination among the subsystems, which in turn reflected the overall performance of the network. The simulation results show that the QoS satisfaction rate of services based on the proposed algorithm is 95%, while the QoS satisfaction rate of services based on the TOPSIS algorithm is only 25%, and the performance of the former is improved by nearly four times, indicating that the problem of multi-service terminal network selection can be solved by the proposed algorithm.

    For the roadside unit (RSU) placement problem in vehicular Ad Hoc network (VANET),the deployment scheme of RSU based on connection time was proposed.The scheme find the optimal positions of RSU for maximizing the number of vehicles while ensuring a certain level of connection time under the limited number of RSU.The problem was modeled as a maximum coverage problem,and a binary particle swarm algorithm was designed to solve it.The simulation experiment was carried out with the real Beijing road network map and taxi GPS data.The simulation results show that the algorithm is convergent,stable and feasible.Compared with the greedy algorithm,the proposed scheme can provide continuous network service for more vehicles.

    The calculation of the priority of the pixel to be repaired and the determination of the best matching block are based on two basic steps of the texture synthesis image inpainting method.The traditional method is not suitable because it is difficult to determine the confidence in the priority calculation,and it is difficult to search for the best matching block.An image inpainting method based on weighted priority and classification matching was proposed.In the priority model,the exponential function and the normalization function were introduced to optimize the confidence and data items separately,the further benefit of which was a more objective priority of calculation and a more reasonable repair order.Based on the proposed functions,the structure information was used as a measure factor of the search matching block,and the best matching block was selected by the classification and screening method.Experimental results show that the proposed method can shorten the repair time under the condition of obtaining good repair effect.

    Communication based train control system (CBTC) is assigned in 2.4 GHz unlicensed band,and is easily interfered by Wi-Fi,which caused several emergency brake accidents in Shenzhen and Beijing.Under identical and adjacent interferences from existing systems,choose appropriate frequency band,working bandwidth and station spacing to improve throughput and emergency brake probability for CBTC system is necessary.Firstly,interference research scenarios were analyzed.Then,safety isolation between CBTC train and interferes through deterministic calculation was calculated.Afterwards,appropriate working bandwidth,frequency band and BS spacing was obtained by comparing system level simulation results,including throughput and emergency brake probability,in different conditions.

    Mid-level features with the semantic information can provide stronger discrimination in the person re-identification than low-level features.But like the low-level features,the mid-level features also use local feature matching methods and easily leads mismatch problem when different pedestrians have similar appearance features in some local areas.Considering the same pedestrians are more similar than different pedestrians in the vertical direction since pedestrians are almost always in a standing position,global vertical appearance constraints was introduced.Furtherly,a method for person re-identification was proposed which fuses the low-level densely patch-matching and the mid-level features with the global vertical appearance constraints.Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a higher hit rate than the existing methods on the most challenging public VIPeR database and CUHK01 database.

    Network function virtualization (NFV) is the core technology and architecture of telecom-level business to cloud,which is the inevitable trend of future network evolution.NFV brings new capabilities to the communications network,at the same time,it requires new management and orchestration (MANO) capabilities for existing equipment operations,management,maintenance and configuration models.First of all,the network management system architecture and future evolution planning of the physical network element were summarized,and by the coming of NFV technology,the changes of the existing network equipment management method and the new network management architecture and function were concluded.The coordination of NFV MANO and operation support system (OSS),NFV MANO and other peripheral network was deeply researched.Finally,from the perspective of telecom operators,the deployment and evolution strategy of NFV MANO based on decoupling level was suggested.
