Abstract:

Currently，“cloud”is the hot sopt widely discussed in information technology，there are more and more demands for cloud storage in the industries.Thin provisioning is a kind of virtual storage volume assign technology，it has some advantages，including increased the utilization of storage，simplified the basic infrastructure，and assigned according to requirements etc.It meets the features of the infrastructure of cloud storage，which is according to demand and easy to expanding.Therefore thin provisioning is the core technology of cloud storage.By analyzing the application of thin provisioning，proved this technology is feasible in telecom information system sofeware.
