Abstract:

As one of the main powers of IaaS cloud computing,open-source cloud computing management platform techonologies are widely applied by more and more SP/ICP.Compared to proprietary products,open-source technologies have more advantages to create flexibility,encourage innovation,reduce carrier's investment and improve carrier's cloud services.Carriers have mass communication network and IT infrastructure,on the one hand they have to gradually transform the large IT infrastructure into cloud to improve resource utilization and accelerate the speed of deployment of new telecom service.The other hand carriers hope to integrate their own IDC computing,storage and network resource and upgrade the capabilities of core IT services including service platform,billing center,data mining,BOSS（business and operating support system）and etc.We will discuss and evaluate the world's excellent open-source management platform,and give our advice for the carriers to build their own private cloud computing platform with open-source technologies.
