Abstract

Abstract:

Software defined networking（SDN）proposed a new concept of network design，which emphasized the separation of network control plane and forwarding plane.It made network architecture more open and encourage network innovation.The basic concept and characteristics of SDN were introduced，the SDN core technology and its industry development status were analyzed，the influence of SDN on the future network from the perspective of operators was discussed，and the corresponding application suggestions were given.

技术	技术成熟度	产品成熟度	适用性	发展判断
OpenFlow	小规模、特定场景下可行性已被证明；硬件、算法和架构等方面仍有诸多问题，暂不具备规模应用能力	业内已有商用产品（商业OpenFlow交换机、控制器、应用）和解决方案，但整体水平有待提高	适合应用于云数据中心；未来可能规模应用于数据中心、接入网、无线网等	开放方案，产业链构成复杂；大规模复杂场景下技术障碍较多，应用还需时日；有多方面价值，对网络架构的影响取决于应用规模和场景，未来不确定性较大
overlay	方案可行，隧道技术相对成熟；当前实现兼容性较差	有大量商用解决方案，产品功能、性能有待提高	场景相对明确，数据中心网络虚拟化及多租户承载	规模应用时性能表现有待提高，前景看好
I2RS	标准进展缓慢，技术尚未成熟	除Cisco OnePK外，较少其他商业解决方案	现有网元设备级控制能力开放，可根据业务需求进行定制开发	完全依赖于传统产业链，严重依赖具体厂商的具体实现，可有限用于现网改造
NFV	方案可行，中短期内只适用于对转发要求不高的网元	部分厂商已有vRouter、vFW等NFV产品，性能有待提高	组件级方案，聚焦于业务网元、边缘设备及对转发性能要求不高的设备	通信业应对软件化趋势的自我变革，当前对传统产业链的依赖比较严重，但发展前景看好
中间软件	发展迅猛，部分关键组件如开源网络OS、ASIC API抽象适配层尚未成型	网络 OS 引导中间件 ONIE已经成型，部分公司推出Linux发行版网络OS	中短期内适用于小型网络设备和NFV、SDN等新兴设备，初期用在TOR交换机中	开放网络关键环节，对白牌机的发展至关重要；Linux为基础的网络OS有望成为主流
网元硬件（COTS）	硬件标准远未成型，厂商按照私有实现积极推进，对使用者的要求较高	部分厂商已有bare-metal交换机产品，部分互联网公司已在云IDC大规模采用	适用于 NFV、SDN 设备承载，初期会用在TOR 交换机中	开放解决方案，对通信业影响较大，由芯片商、ODM、互联网公司等主推
