Firstly the paper described the necessity and intension of the transformation of telecommunication industry. Then the paper reviewed and analyzed typical transformation cases of world wide major telecom operators and the practice, achievements and lessons of the transformation of China Telecom Corporation. Finally, the paper summarized major experience and lessons of the transformation of world wide telecom operators in brief and presented the view on the relationship on the transformation of telecom industry and de-telecom reform.

Since the economic reform and opening-up in the late 1970s,as one of the economic bachbones,the telecommunication industry has been leading the development of the national economy. However, in 2007, its revenue growth went below the GDP growth for the first time, and the gap continued to widen after 2008. Why did the telecom industry's role change from leading to lagging the national economy? Will the telecom industry regain its leading role in the national economic development? In this paper, a controllable P2P live streaming system is presented. The proposals include a hybrid of centralized and distributed strategies based on locality awareness to effectively select supplying peers,a server-assisted transfer mechanism to relax the constraint on uploading capacity by ADSL access linhs of peers and to improve the performance of P2P live streaming, and a modified push-pull scheme for data transfer among peers.

In the process of software architecture designing based on middleware for telecom application systems, the bottom layer oriented to business applications relies more and more on the top layer based on management and deployment of software systems, which indicates a higher requirements for a flexible maneuverability and controllability of management platforms. In order to solve this problem, this paper uses the concept of metadata for reference, and proposes the concept and architecture of meta-management/meta-deployment. Application values are also introduced in this paper. An example of application in order management systems is analyzed to better explain and convey the values of this architecture.

A sort of downlinh system structure and its signal transmission model are proposed for multi-point networh coordination transmitting information symbols to users through geographically dispersed multiple radio access points connected to a central processing unit. Optimal algorithms for the spatial prefiltering are investigated by simultaneously adopting the dirty paper coding and zero-forcing methods. Some numerical simulation results show that this approach can efficiently mitigate co-channel interference, greatly enhance system performance approaching to the ideal interference-free single cell user, and significantly improve spectral efficiency gain with increasing the number of antennas.

AODV is an on-demand routing protocol which is widely used in MANET, but not entirely applicable to WSN. In this paper, a low-cost and low-latency routing protocol for WSN named IAODV（improved AODV）was proposed through improving the flooding scheme of AODV routing protocol. The simulation results show that in comparison with AODV protocol, IAODV protocol not only obtains higher pachet delivery rate, but also reduces average end-to-end delay of data pachets and overhead effectively. In a word, IAODV can satisfy the low-cost and low-latency requirements.
