Abstract

Abstract:

This article mainly introduces the protocol model of IEEE802.16-2005, the key technology of the PHY layer and the MAC layer, and the enhanced technology to support mobility,such as,the access management,the terminal management,and the mobility management. It compares the technology differences between 802.16d and 802.16e,and briefly introduces the development of the equipment and industry of 802.16.
