基于GPON原理的城域传送体系研究

Abstract

Abstract:

Since GPON technology is advanced for its flexible bandwidth allocation,high transmission efficiency and perfect OAM function,it has been widely used in local access network.Meanwhile,the metropolitan-area network also requires a technology to realize the uniform support of users' services and powerful OAM features,in order to reduce the CAPEX and OPEX of operators' networks.Based on these requests,we propose a GPON-based transmission hierarchy （GTH）for metropolitan-area network.Simulation results show that,compared with MSTP,GTH reduces the cost of network expansion significantly for its higher transmission efficiency.
