Abstract

Abstract:

Several realization modes of voice service based on PON are firstly presented in this article,by comparing and analyzing, cost performance of using soft switch mode is the topmost.Key factors of influencing the application of voice service based on PON are analyzed, and the study on the interoperability of voice service among different users for the technical characteristic effect of PON is emphasized. The problems of being unable to call after ONU current failure and the problems of platform interoperability between PON and NGN are also analyzed,and operable solution to the above problems is put forward.
