Abstract:

After discussing the problems of the existing P2P streaming systems, this article proposes an operational, manageable and scalable P2P streaming system framework for service provider, and also presents the video-on-demand service processes and the major resource scheduling and management processes under this framework. With this P2P streaming system, service provider can effective resolve the existing problems such as content privacy, user billing, and quality assurance, and develop a business model to P2P streaming service.
