Abstract

Abstract:

Solutions of each step in TD-SCDMA downlink cell search are provided.Search steps are downlink guide slot（DwPTS） position search，downlink synchronization code （SYNC_DL）position search and frame synchronization control.Based on characteristics of frame and slot structure in TD-SCDMA，power-matching pattern method is used to find the position of downlink guide slot（DwPTS）and definition pattern method is proposed to decide the position of downlink synchronization code（SYNC_DL）.To control frame synchronization，channel estimation for TD-SCDMA mobile communication system can be achieved through a new fast method of detecting downlink guide channel.These new methods simplify calculation complexity，realize fast and high efficiency network test system and can be applied to TD-SCDMA network planning and optimization，which are proved by simulation and field testing.
