Abstract:

Solutions of each step in TD-SCDMA downlink cell search are provided.Search steps are downlink guide slot(DwPTS) position search,downlink synchronization code (SYNC_DL)position search and frame synchronization control.Based on characteristics of frame and slot structure in TD-SCDMA,power-matching pattern method is used to find the position of downlink guide slot(DwPTS)and definition pattern method is proposed to decide the position of downlink synchronization code(SYNC_DL).To control frame synchronization,channel estimation for TD-SCDMA mobile communication system can be achieved through a new fast method of detecting downlink guide channel.These new methods simplify calculation complexity,realize fast and high efficiency network test system and can be applied to TD-SCDMA network planning and optimization,which are proved by simulation and field testing.
