Abstract

Abstract:

As one of key technologies of LTE-Advanced，relay can provide the fast and flexible deployment for operator，and improve the network coverage or capacity.Based on the comparison of different relay schemes，the definitions and functions of type I and II relays defined in 3GPP are discussed.According to the standardization process in 3GPP Rel.10，the physical schemes of type I Relay in LTE-Advanced are presented in detail.
