Abstract: More and more video services and programs will be carried by ultra-broadband IP networks.Compared with traditional operator’s coaxial networks,IP networks are more complex,packet loss is more likely to happen,and the user’s experience will suffer a lot.Current video coding redundancy technologies are only feasible in coaxial network,it is necessary to research on the video packet loss restoration technologies in IP networks.This paper analyzes the impact of packet loss on video quality,compares the mainstream remediation technology,analyzes the test results.
