Abstract:

Broadband fiber access,as well as FTTH,is the final development and is becoming the hotspot concerned by telecommunication carrier because of its bigger capacity, wider range, higher QoS, better scalability, lower OPEX, stronger resistance, and higher security. Beginning with the analysis of the broadband services and their bandwidth needs, this paper introduces the technology characteristics related to FTTH and their latest progress, analyzes the application scenes of FTTx based on PON technologies,and finally gives the integrated FTTx application proposal.
