The rapid development of instant messaging (IM) changes the people's communication, collaboration and entertainment manner radically. IM should solve its inherit security weakness before it build up its position as Internet killer application. This paper try to summarize and categorize the security threatens face to IM and analyze and the root factors behind. Based on the analysis, a security model of IM will be proposed. Here current security solutions and their advantages and drawbacks will also be introduced. Finally this paper will try to point out several development directions for IM security enhancement.

Based on the status of domestic safety monitoring system used in coal mine, a safety monitoring system is proposed, which adopt the techniques of industry ethernet and field bus to build a hybrid distributed accessing network. Industry ethernet provides a high-speed channel for the multimedia monitoring data, and the monitoring system can control distributed devices. Also, with the techniques of field bus,any distributed third-party devices can access the hybrid network and communicate seamlessly. In this paper, the structure is analyzed as well as the communication mode between control stations and substations. This system can achieve to monitor and control the devices of coal mine with the characteristics of high reliability,openness,real-time control and high communication rate etc.

IPv6 technology provides good support to the mobility, so the mobility supporting has already become a necessary expansion of the application protocols. Based on the discussion of the basic principle of BGP/MPLS VPN,this paper has discussed the principle of the mobility of BGP/MPLS VPN over IPv6 and proposed the solution of the mobility,aiming at the development trend of future network and shortage of current theory.
