Abstract

Abstract:

Plastic optical fiber（POF）now has become a hot in optical fiber communication technology research,due to price and performance advantages.It has broad prospects in all optical network to access the application in the home.This paper analyzes the development status,technical progress and market structure of the global plastic optical fiber,and introduces some foreign classic application cases,analyzes plastic optical fiber trends and outlooks future prospects of Chinaˊs market.
