Research on Access Network Selection Algorithm for Multi-Terminal Coordination

Abstract:

In view of the problem of access network selection with multi-terminal coordination in a“virtual terminal”,this paper introduced the network structure with virtual terminal,researched the service provided method in case of multi-terminal coordination,analyzed the changes of access network selection parameters when several terminals access the same access network at the same time,improved the MADM(multiple attribute decision making)algorithm and put forward a multi-terminal coordination access network selection(CANS)algorithm.The algorithm makes the selected access network with best available bandwidth and system load,realizes the result of the access network selection with the overall optimization.Simulation shows that the service throughput is improved significantly when compares multi-terminal coordination access network selection algorithm with random selection algorithm.
