Abstract:

Rich mobile data services provide telecommunication operators with opportunities as well as challenges.In this paper, a compre-hensive analysis is given on the major problems facing the current mobile operators brought by the data service operation.And building mo-bile integrated service platform (MISP) is proposed as a solution. The four design objectives of MISP-unified service management, unified authentication, authorization and accounting, unified user and application programming interface, and unified operator's internal interface, together with three principles-independence of service enablers,independence of specific equipment and a good flexibility are explicated.A reference architecture model of MISP is also given and some key solutions are provided. Finally, how the MISP works is summarized and the prospect of the MISP is presented.
