Abstract

Abstract:

In recent years，40Gbit/s transmission already attract a lot of attention from the industry.Based on the investigation on industry development，market demand，technologies，cost，fiber cable performance，etc.，the article concludes that，40Gbit/s WDM transmission system is close to mature and is moving to the phase of mass deployment.Operators all over the world should set up their own individual network construction scheme based on their scenario.
